Distance and Online learning
Today, FLD provides the most demanded modules here to download and for self-learning use.
In the past, several organizations expressed a demand for distance learning to provide access to skills/training to community/social workers in Cambodia and Thailand. FLD responded to it by designing learning modules in different areas (“communication skills”, “Financial Planning” etc). Later on, FLD developed an expertise in online delivery and mixed-mode delivery (combination of online/face-to-face approaches) of these modules and implemented projects in Myanmar and Cambodia, including the training of local online tutors. The modules were also updated, modified to be more user friendly (use of multimedia).
